In May villagers gathered in the village hall for Blythburgh's annual meeting. The events of the previous year were reviewed and stands set up by village organisations. David Tytler, parish council chairman, announced that Gillian Lond-Caulk had been chosen villager of the year. After the official business had been concluded, wine and light refreshments were enjoyed.
